At I Show U Sevilla, instructors including Eva, Mati, Mathilde, and Magdalena guide beginners through flamenco arms, hand movements, footwork, and a short routine. The one-hour class includes basic costume pieces, with shoes and skirts available to rent.

Join an English-speaking chef at Taller Andaluz de Cocina in Triana Market for three hours of hands-on Spanish cooking. You’ll prepare gazpacho or salmorejo, tapas, chicken paella, and lemon sorbet with Cava, then eat together with sangria and two extra drinks.

Meet your English-speaking guide at Triana Market, learn about local ingredients, then cook salmorejo, spinach with chickpeas, Valencian paella, and dessert with a professional chef. Guides such as Ana, Dom, Leo, Maria, and Sabrina bring humor and practical instruction to the class.

Spend 90 minutes learning stand-up paddleboarding on Seville’s calm river with guides such as Rodrigo, Tatiana, Valentina, and Pablo. Expect city views, a pass by colorful Triana, photos and videos, lockers, and patient help for first-timers.

Meet your English-speaking chef at Mercado de Triana at 6 p.m. for a three-hour, chef-led cooking class. You will prepare Spanish dishes such as salmorejo, spinach with chickpeas, and chicken-and-vegetable paella, drink homemade sangria, and eat the meal you make.

Join chef Fernando of Paella Legacy for a small-group rooftop cooking class in central Seville. You will prepare chicken and vegetable paella, taste overnight-marinated sangria, enjoy cathedral views at sunset, ask local questions, and take home recipes plus a keepsake.
“The views were unbelievable and the paella was very good. This tour was a bit more expensive than other tours we booked in Spain but was a very unique experience. The rooftop views are so unique. Tour happened at sunset so you got to enjoy both the day time and night time views of the city scape and the cathedral. Really breathtaking. Paella was very good. Nice learning experience. Great way to have a unique view point and a great dinner.”
Join Eva and her team in Seville for a one-hour beginner flamenco class covering hand, foot, hip, and rhythm work. You will learn a short routine, hear about flamenco culture, and use a shawl and flower or scarf. Optional shoes and costume pieces cost €5 each.

Spend 60 minutes learning flamenco basics with a local instructor such as Maria, Kati, or Constanza. Expect clapping, heel work, hand and body movements, music, cultural background, and a short choreography in a small group of up to eight.

At Handmade The Brand on Calle Sierpes, you will learn the story of Spanish espadrilles, choose your sole, style, stitching, and laces, then personalize a complete pair with help from artisans such as Maria, Ale, Fe, or Fernando. Snacks and local drinks are included.

In a small group of up to 10, you’ll learn flamenco steps, hand movements, clapping, rhythms, and a short routine from instructors such as Kati, Nico, Costanza, or Toni. Add the live show to see the art form in action and better understand what you learned.
“Hands down the best activity we did in Sevilla, and that included over 8 days of excursions and activities in Sevilla. Kati is an amazing and authentic teacher. She also happens to be very beautiful and engaging and my sons and I (they are in college) had a blast learning the history and art form of flamenco. What an amazing cultural heritage. Kati was also in the show we saw in Triana along with a really fantastic group. I'm so glad we did that option! I highly advise to do both the studio lesson and the show. We feel like we really understand and appreciate this art form so much…”
At Arte y Pureza in Triana, you spend two hours painting a ceramic piece with guidance from Spanish and English-speaking teachers, including Irene. Choose a mug, jewelry box, pet feeder, or another item, then leave it for glazing and firing. The workshop is limited to 10 people.
“Zeer leuke workshop. Weet wel dat de keramiek nog ter plaatse afgerekend moet worden en er nog enkele dagen moet gewacht worden tot alles uit de oven komt. Wel hele leuke begeleiding en voor ons sneller uit de oven gehaald aangezien we terug naar huis moesten!”
